Because of its impressive flow, the Coo waterfall is certainly the most famous in Belgium. But above all, it is easily accessible thanks to the nearby roads and SNCB railway station.
But what about admiring this famous waterfall from the wooden terrace of the chalet-restaurant "Au Vieux Moulin"?
Enjoy the spectacular natural scenery while savouring one of our many beers or an Italian ice cream! Perfect for a refreshing drink after a sunny hike or a day at Plopsa Coo.
The tavern is located just at the entrance to the village, opposite our hotel-restaurant "Au Sommet de la Cascade".

Au Vieux Moulin" is an emblematic tavern in the village of Coo. It is located at the entrance to the village, just behind the bridge.
During your relaxing break, you can enjoy:

Open every day in summer
For your convenience, we'd like to detail the opening times of ‘Le Vieux Moulin’. During July and August, we are open every day from 11am to 8.30pm.
The season reopens during the Easter holidays, when we are open every day except Wednesday and Thursday.
After the Easter holidays, we are only open to welcome clients on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays until July. From September, we return to the same opening hours as before the summer. We open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, then close and reopen one last time during the All Saints' and Christmas holidays.
Please note that during the winter, we welcome you on request for a minimum reservation of 20 people, with our pierrade and / or Savoyard fondue formula, or any other buffet.
Ideal for group events
Ideally located, the cottage-brasserie "Au Vieux Moulin" welcomes visitors to the Plopsa Coo Park, from Coo-Adventure or hikers and cyclists. It's a great quick eating stop for people who want to explore the Amblève valley, Stavelot, Spa or even Francorchamps. We also invite you to discover our hotel and guest house, which are just a stone's throw away.
